Ticket validation

When you take a train in Italy, don't forget to validate your ticket, as the day isn't usually specified. You'll need to punch your ticket at the yellow machine you'll easily find in all railway stations before you get on the train.

When you get to Perugia, it'll be probably better to refer to the station called "Perugia", instead of "Perugia Ponte San Giovanni" or "Perugia università" (which is close to the Engineering Department, but far from the city center).

Transportation in Perugia

In Perugia, you can reach most places on foot. Our Department is only 5 minutes far from the town center. Public transport consists of buses, escalators and the recently built MiniMetro. One ticket lasts 70 minutes and can be used on all the previously mentioned means of transport. Tickets must be punched when getting into the bus.
