5th International Workshop on
Web-based Collective Evolutionary Systems: models, measures, applications
WCES16
July 4-7, 2016, in Beijing, China
Held in conjunction with ICCSA 2016
The aim of the workshop is to provide a discussion forum and to solicit quality papers describing systems, techniques, models and metrics for managing the inherent and emergent evolutionary dynamics of web-based collective virtual organizations and for analyzing and mining the related collective knowledge focusing on temporal dynamics and adaptation. Examples of such organization and domains range from social networks, e-learning and MOOC communities, to e-commerce marketplace recommender and comparison systems, advertising broker systems. ambient intelligence. Collective knowledge reflects in a natural way the dynamic evolution of user behaviors, tastes, interests, goals and views. It can be used to extract valuable information about the user communities and to adapt and improve the effectiveness of services and applications (e.g. adaptive search engines, automatic reputation and recommendation systems, collective tagging, user behavior prediction etc.).
