The laboratory is located within the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, University of Perugia, Italy. We join several research groups that are the result of the synergy of our department activity with other departments.
The Knowledge and Information Technology lab successfully investigates research areas such as automated pianification, data mining, complex networks and evolutionary computation, producing models, systems, measures and compuation techniques for the solution of problems which vary from function optimization to network immunization, link prediction and automated classification. KITlab is also involved in several projects in the e-learning area.
