GEOMETRY & PHYSICS III
Poisson sigma models, Lie algebroids and the BV master equation
The Séminaire Itinérant Geometry and Physics is at its 3rd edition. After the 1st one in France in 2003 and the 2nd one in China, this edition will take place at the Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica in Perugia (Italy), from the 25th to the 29th of July 2005.
The aim is to bring together young researchers from the two areas of geometry and physics and establish a bridge over the GAP dividing this two deeply interconnected research fields.
In the mornings we will have four main speakers giving short course of three hours each. In the afternoons there will be approximately 10 seminars from participants on their research works. Such seminars will be decided at the beginning of the workshop. Wednesday afternoon will be reserved for discussions and sightseeing.
